Examples of projects completed by
IMD include:
- Gas Transmission Risk
Assessment
- Integration of pipeline asset,
corrosion and in-line inspection data, risk
analysis, software licensing, and on-going project
support for 9000 mile natural gas transmission
pipeline company in Eastern U.S.
- Integration of pipeline asset
and corrosion data, risk analysis, software
licensing, and on-going project support for
16,000 mile natural gas transmission pipeline
company in Mid-Continent U.S. Project included
development of interfaces to integrate data
from other systems.
- Company-wide software implementation,
including data integration, risk assessment
and GIS tools, for large natural gas pipeline
company in Mexico.
- Hazardous Liquids Risk
Assessment
- Integration of pipeline asset,
corrosion and in-line inspection data, risk
analysis, software licensing, and on-going project
support for 9,000 mile hazardous liquids pipeline
company in Southwestern U.S. Services provided
included regulatory audit support, emergency
flow restricting device analysis, in-line inspection
anomaly classification, and high consequence
area identification for pipelines and facilities.
- Integration of pipeline asset,
corrosion and in-line inspection data, risk
analysis, software licensing, and on-going project
support for 10,000 mile hazardous liquids pipeline
company in U.S. Services provided included regulatory
audit support, emergency flow restricting device
analysis, in-line inspection anomaly classification,
and high consequence area identification for
pipelines.
- Turn-key integrity management
engineering, services and software for 100 mile
hazardous liquids pipeline company.
- Gas Distribution Risk
Assessment
- Integration of pipeline integrity
data and software implementations for several
gas distribution companies in U.S. On-going
development of engineering and software solutions
to meet pending U.S. distribution integrity
management regulations.
- Facility Risk Assessment
Implementation
- Implementation of tank farm,
above ground storage tank, pump station and
facility risk assessment software for large
hazardous liquids pipeline company in Mexico.
- Risk assessment services for
large natural gas compression, metering and
storage facility. Project included implementation
of multi-level risk assessment algorithms, data
integration and analysis.
- Direct Assessment Data
Integration and Analysis
- Integration of pipeline asset
and corrosion data, risk analysis, software
licensing, and on-going project support for
2500 mile natural gas transmission and distribution
company. Supported NACE and GTI based external
corrosion direct assessment processes as part
of company’s integrity management program.
- Integration and analysis of data
in support of industry consortium project to
develop external corrosion direct assessment
standards.
- GIS and Data Integration
- All projects implemented by AI
IMD include specific levels of data and GIS
integration. AI IMD recognizes that a pipeline
company typically has a GIS or data integration
platform, and that it’s solutions must
be capable of working with these systems. If
a client has no system in place, IMD’s
solution has the data integration and GIS components
necessary to support integrity management requirements
as a stand alone system.
- Regulatory Audit Support
- AI IMD has experts in regulatory
and engineering standard interpretation and
has supported numerous hazardous liquids and
natural gas pipeline companies in their successful
regulatory audit process.
- HCA Identification for
Gas and Liquid Pipelines
- AI IMD has successfully completed
spatial based HCA identification for more than
50,000 miles of hazardous liquids pipeline and
facilities, and more than 20,000 miles of natural
gas transmission pipeline.
