Michael Lutz New Director of Customer Service

Austin, TX – October 10, 2007: American Innovations’ Field Data Division (FDD), leading provider of products and services for pipeline industries, announced the addition of Michael Lutz as Director of Customer Service. Michael’s first priority will be to "own" customer satisfaction. He will manage technical service engineers, technical writing and return processing and direct resolution of all customer issues. He is responsible for completing the implementation of FDD’s Customer Satisfaction Index and the use of that measure to continually improve quality and satisfaction.

Mike has over ten years experience working in strategic business development and operations management at successful software companies. He spent the last year at Symantec, the fourth largest independent software company in the world, as Senior Manager of Education Services after the company purchased Altiris, where Lutz served as Area Director of Professional Services since 2005. Previous to Symantec and Altiris, Lutz worked for Hewlett-Packard, Novadigm and Amdahl Corporation.
